We've just submitted an entry into the Innovate10 LaunchPad competition for disruptive digital technologies - and TeamSurv has the capability to be that for hydrographic surveying.
The first part of the process is a 2 minute video, which you can see and comment on at http://www.innovate10.co.uk/video/teamsurv. The judges look at the videos and the comments to generate a short list, then a written application form is submitted, and the top 3 in each category make presentations at Innovate10 in October.
If we win, it will help fund us for rolling out the data logging throughout the UK, and also further enhancing the algorithms that we are currently developing.
It's an interesting way of screening competition applicants - both the ability to put the project into a 2 minute video, and also the short time scale of 10 days from announcing the competition to closing entries.
